...pyrex from one of your favorite bloggers!
I just yesterday received my first piece of mail from another blogger.
Trathy from "They all Lived" (an ALI blogger, not a pyrex blogger) sent me pyrex to celebrate our pregnancy. It came all the way from Canada, took forever, cost a fortune and was reported non-deliverable, but it made it in one piece! I have passed my love for pyrex on to someone else!
Thank you Trathy for thinking of me!!!!! (just needed to do a public thank you too!)

11 and 12 weeks
I can't believe I'm nearing the end of the first trimester. It is surreal to me that there is actually a baby in there. A real live baby that has a heartbeat and even moves, I heard and saw it today! 155 beats a minute. And I have proof!
I am still symptom free, but I thought I was starting to feel movement. Multiple days in a row this past week on the ride home from work, I thought I felt something where the seatbelt hits my stomach. However when she scanned me today and prodded my belly to wake the baby up, the baby went nuts and was squirming around like crazy, I couldn't feel anything.
We haven't settled on a nickname for the baby but I think we'd better get on that pretty soon before we have to come up with an actual name. I'm due on Halloween, so I feel it has to be a Halloween themed name, the following have been tossed around by me with limited success with the husband.
1. Franken-baby (seems too much like "Test tube baby" which is totally inappropriate)
2. Boo (Hubby was just not a fan)
3. Pumpkin (Seems too easy)
4. Skully (apparently this is a term that also means oral sex)
Any additional suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Just looking for something cute and semi-unisex.
On a different note, I have begun to show. I took a picture last week, but we were having internet problems. I we changed from DSL to cable and the problem seems to be resolved, but I couldn't get the post up without internet. So it is here with today's shot.
Here are my belly shots:
On an unrelated note, I went to the ER last night. It had almost nothing to do with being pregnant. I was moving things around in our greenhouse in our yard and while moving between tables managed to get a huge splinter in my left butt cheek. probably because I am larger than I think I am (already?!?!). Nate could not get it out and I didn't want to risk getting an infection. The good news is that I was only there for 2 hours total and got home for bedtime, but I did have to get a tetanus shot and my left arm was useless for the day.

10 weeks
10 weeks today!
I am lucky and I know it! I've had VERY mild symptoms so far and this just continues.
No Nausea, No vomiting, No food aversions, No food cravings, No pooping issues
My only proof that I am actually pregnant is positive tests, good ultrasounds, weight gain, sore/growing boobs, a small belly starting to form, and getting up to pee 2-3 times a night.
I am definitely counting my blessings because I know how horrible the first trimester can be for most women.
I am grateful/ecstatic to be where I am and the worry is starting to ease, but I guess it just doesn't go away magically with every step forward.
Today's black shirt on black pants makes the belly look bigger than it is, it's an odd angle and you can barely see my boobs. And you get yet another dog photo-bombing, this is Bella, she was officially added to the pack last Easter.
Speaking of Easter, I figured I could update a little on the rest of my life. We are in the middle of putting together a large greenhouse in our small backyard. With it we should easily be able to grow plants all year round! It's half done though so the pieces are scattered and taking over the yard. The husband took a break from building it this weekend and we went to a friend's house for Easter dinner. We had a good time, played some games outdoors and ate great food!
My contribution was dyed deviled eggs. I wish I could say that they were a hit, but there just weren't many deviled egg lovers at this party, so about half came back home with us.
Other than that it's been the same old same old around here. I hope to get back to posting more about my life and my projects around here. I just have very little energy at the end of the day (Hey! Another pregnancy symptom!). I do make a special effort to post on Thursday. I have to con the husband into taking one crappy iphone photo just to post though! Might be time to invest in a real camera again.
