On Backorder until September!!!!!!
I just called the doc's office (the second and most recent doc) to find out whether or not the IUI kits they use, which were on backorder, came in early as I was told they wouldn't be in until July. Since AF just arrived, I thought maybe we could get an IUI this cycle, rather than next. His receptionist told me that they would be on backorder until September. I can't have an IUI until September!!!!!! Are they for serious?!?!?! Has anyone else heard of this?!?!?!

WTF??? Can't they call another office somewhere in the US and get one?? This totally sucks, I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy! I haven't heard anything about a shortage of IUI kits, but I'm not doing IUIs anymore so I guess I probably wouldn't be in the know. However, I haven't read about this on any other blogs. I agree with Bridget, seems weird that there isn't a way to get their hands on one.

That is ridiculous!! I haven't heard about this from ANYONE else (and I follow a ridiculous number of blogs). How frustrating. :(
ReplyDeleteNo way! How difficult can it be to send some from another clinic? If you can, demand it! I would be furious.. as you probably are.
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been there too! I had to put off a couple of cycles a few years ago b/c of that. SOOOO frustrating when you're just ready to get going! So sorry, that blows!
