The doc just called.
Out of the 10 eggs, 6 were mature.
Out of the six mature eggs, 3 fertilized normally.
Not quite what we wanted to hear.
We are currently planning for a day 5 transfer of 1 embryo. The doc will call on Sunday with an update.

Hang in there sweetie. This part is so hard. I'm sending lots of good growing thoughts to your three embabies.
ReplyDeleteHang in there Michele! You have 3 embabies growing, and I'm praying for a great result from this transfer!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry the numbers aren't what you were hoping for.
ReplyDeleteThe days after a retrieval are such a roller coaster. Hang in there. I mean this with all sincerity: it is possible for things to turn around and start looking up again.
I know the numbers aren't as high as you hoped for, but your chances are still great this cycle, and hopefully you will still have at least one good one 'in the bank'. I've got everything crossed that your one embie sticks around for the long haul.
ReplyDeleteTry not to get down even though I know it's hard. I only had 3 fertilized eggs with Emily and we transfered 2 on day 3 and here she is! Best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteOur last cycle yielded us 3 embryos, so I am hoping this is it for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you didn't get more embryos to work with. That sucks when you had 10 eggs to begin with and I understand your disappointment. I so hope you get good news about the three ones that you do have growing. Thinking of you!
